On the back of her success with the Abrewa Mafia skits, Vivian Jill Lawrence made a strong showing in 2025. She had prominent roles in movies like The Preacher. She also featured in the series Whose Fault, Mastermind, and many others.

Medikal released singles like No Good Advice, Gyae Me, Welcome to Africa, and Aboniki Flow. His Shoulder collaboration with Shatta Wale has been one of the biggest tunes in Ghana in 2025. Medikal also had a good run with performances in many schools. MoMo Fest, Afro Piano, and Rapperholic Homecoming were some of his other concerts.

Black Sherif successfully released the Iron Boy album. His collaborations with Fireboy DML and Buju Banton, So It Goes and Green Light, respectively, appeared on Spotify's 2025 Global Impact list. He also had his second BET nomination. Sherif also had the Iron Boy tour to promote his album. The tour took him to six cities in North America and Europe.

Stonebwoy had a successful UP & Runnin6 World Tour with stops in North America and Europe. He also headlined shows like HoodTalk Music Festival, Tidal Rave Festival, MoMo Fest, and Gomoah Fetteh Akwambo Festival. His 9-track EP, Torcher, was released to much acclaim.

King Paluta's 2025 saw him grow significantly with new music and increased recognition both locally and internationally. He released Foko, Thank You, and La Vida Loca, among other songs, which became anthems in the year. Paluta also headlined many shows in Ghana and toured the US and Europe with stops in Belgium and Germany.

Piesie Esther dropped her Ogya EP to much acclaim. Her single, Nyame Ye, which was produced by Kuami Eugene, has also been a big success. She has performed at numerous events from the beginning of 2025, including Mega Praise, United Praise In London, Tehillah Experience, and NkrumahFest.

Wendy Shay's 2024 hit Too Late crossed over to 2025 and spawned a remix, which amassed a whopping 30 billion reactions on TikTok in just about three months of its release. She released songs like Apology featuring Mavado, Crazy In Love featuring OliveTheBoy, and also performed at big events like Fetu Afahye, KNUST SRC Week, and Ghana Independence Day Celebrations in Netherlands, among others.

Since she burst onto the scene in 2021, Gyakie has never looked back. In 2025, Amaarae made history as the first Ghanaian artist to perform a solo set at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. She also released her highly anticipated third studio album, Black Star. She toured North American cities, including New York, Toronto, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles.

Juliana Amoateng continued to focus on lifestyle content, including fashion, skincare, and travel in 2025. Her page grew in numbers, indicating a growing interest in her content.

A nurse and child health philanthropist, Wendy Boatemaa Ofori, operates the "Redeeming Hands Foundation" (RHF), an NGO dedicated to supporting child health. In 2025, she solicited cash donations to pay the hospital and educational bills of many needy people.

High jumper Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah made history at the 2025 World Athletics Championships when she qualified for the final with a 1.92m jump. She became the first-ever Ghanaian woman to do so. Even though she did not win a medal, her appearance in the final was also the first time in 20 years that any individual athlete from Ghana had reached a final. Ignatius Gaisah and Margaret Simpson were the last in 2005.

Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah had a transformative year. She was a debutant for the Black Queens at the 2025 WAFCON in Morocco but ended up as one of the breakout stars. At the club level, she moved from London City Lionesses to Nottingham Forest after winning the WSL2 title with her former club.
